LE VICTOIRE by Karl Fischer
lacquered wood, melamine
In the heart of Montréal, Canada’s most important economic centre, the new Le Victoire skyscraper rises up, the vertical extension of a building dating back to the beginning of the 20th century. GD Arredamenti has designed the kitchens of the building’s apartments, which overlook the green park of Victoria Square, using the Space Profile-C collection.
The design includes a free-standing island that also acts as a snack bar facing the living area. A particularly interesting solution is the overhead deep-cabinets installed above the full length of the kitchen, increasing the overall storage space. The doors and decorative elements are finished from brown Tranché melamine, combined with high-gloss Ivory lacquer.
