Pillow tanks: the flexible solution Flexible tanks or ‘pillow tanks’ are used for a range of applications, including: for military operations; for emergency aid and sanitary facilities in disaster zones; in residential areas for rainwater or drinking water storage; for storing extinguishing water for businesses; in the agricultural sector for storing fertilisers. Pillow tanks have been designed to offer a simple and flexible solution for the temporary or permanent storage of a range of liquids. Installation only requires a flat surface and once empty they can be easily moved or stored away. We have developed a special pillow tank for storing drinking water which is made from material that is ideally suited and certified for use with drinking water. Because pillow tanks are fully-enclosed the water does not come into contact with the outside air so there can be no bacterial contamination, pollution or evaporation. Furthermore, the safe storage of drinking water is guaranteed for the entire use-by period.
