DIGICONTROL ems 4 %u2013 economic modular system
is a networkbased, interdisciplinary, freely programmable automation system for universal tasks in all areas of building and industrial automation for systems of all sizes.
The open communication via all modern transfer methods, the consistent use of introduced standards, the use of existing IT infrastructure, the integration of various areas and systems as well as the sophisticated, modular overall concept with decentralised distribution of tasks via fine modular intelligent assemblies mean that DIGCONTROL ems 4 is perfectly suited for all future requirements.
All interfaces and protocols are components of the system to guarantee compatibility to existing GFR systems. To facilitate neutral coupling to any automation and management systems, BACnet® is an integral component of the DIGICONTROL ems 4 series.
An intelligent control unit is the core of DIGICONTROL ems 4.
It communicates internally with the system's input and output modules via the CAN bus, which has excellent interference resistance and realtime reaction.
The input and output modules can also act as interfaces for various communication tasks for specific systems in addition to the standard analogue and digital signals (e.g.: M bus, LON, KNX, LCN, Grundfos and Wilo bus, Modbus etc.).
The DIGICONTROL ems 4.CP03B-BACnet® control unit act as a client and server. It efficiently performs all control and regulation tasks and can thereby be queried, as well as querying other BACnet users. That makes DIGICONTROL ems 4 the ideal BACnet® communication partner at the automation and management level.
