Description

This set of extremely comfortable seating and evolving in appearance, explores shape in progress. TOSHIYUKI KITA 2013 The Magica recliner changes its function depending on the need: it can be rotated, reclined or the headrest folded away. The base combines Giorgetti’s technique of wood with the use of metal to create unusual associations. Armchair and stool in solid walnut canaletto wood, with upholstery in fabric or leather. Armchair with a reclining mechanism of the backrest, the seat frame in poplar plywood and metal and the padding in expanded cold foamed polyurethane, covered with fibre. The upper part of the backrest can be manually bent forward and a gas spring allows tilt backrest regulation thanks to a button inside the armrest. The swivel base, in beech plywood with veneer in walnut canaletto wood, has two columns and a plate in metal painted in a bronze colour. The not removable upholstery is in fabric or leather. Stool with legs in solid walnut canaletto wood and the padding in flexible multidensity polyurethane, covered with fibre. The not removable upholstery is in fabric or leather.
