The hardness and resistance to wear of “Micromarmo” terrazzo floor tiles are similar to the hardest natural stone, which is why this cement (or "encaustic") tile is widely used to pave the insides of elegant shops, offices, bathrooms and kitchens.
MICROMARMO - COMPOSITION ANALYSIS
The top half (about 1.5 cm) of “Micromarmo” terrazzo tiles consists of an agglomerate of carefully selected and very finely ground hard crystals and marble, mixed with high-strength cement. The bottom half is a mixture of silica sands and PTL 425 cement at a ratio of 400 kg x 1 m3 sand.
