One of the more lavish board profiles: Victoria offers milled stripes in the head profile as well as in the basement profile, giving the Goldleiste (golden board) a luxurious note.

Victorian Goldleisten show a lot of decoration. The profile's manyfold an dainty aspects are clearly visible. This style was predominant at the time of British Queen Victoria (1837-1901). Victorian base boards have lavish decoration: Compared to the classic base boards, the Victorian base board has, in accordance with its style, a much bigger emphasis on the head profile.
