Depending on the version, the multiLine_2 hve is adjusted by means of 1, 2 or 3 electric motors with silent running adjustment drives. In the electric versions (max. 3 electric motors), the cable remote control with magnetic safety key controls the functions "height adjustment", "synchronous tilt", "back rest" and "leg rest". Tilting of the complete upper section, e.g. for the relax position or to lower the head position, is carried out steplessly by means of release levers mounted on both sides underneath the seat cushions. As well as the fully electric version, the modular design of the multiLine_2 provides the option of model variants with electric height adjustment and manual adjustment of the upper section, likewise synchronously or separately. The height adjustment range is 53 to 87 cm referred to the seat or lounger height.

Patient transfer - e.g. from the entrance of the operating theatre to the lounger or from lounger to bed - is very much simplified by the adjustable height, and goes easy on both the personnel and the patient. Of course it is possible to fold up the armrests – the lounger becomes completely accessible in the sitting position.

If the backrest is in horizontal position the arm rests can be lowered down to the sides of the seat cushion. The lounger can be fitted with a battery (see accessories) so that it can be moved from time to time independently of the mains supply.
