Guncast took the challenge of designing a distinctive family swimming pool in the Cotswolds within the grounds of a large family home. Measuring 18m x 6m x 1.4m, this large pool is set in charming landscaped gardens and features large-format black stone interior tiles to provide an elegant and glossy shine. The real differentiator though is the Children's Pool (3m x 3m x 0.4m constant depth) situated within the main pool. This additional design feature will provide a safe area for young children to swim and play whilst still being in part of the main pool under the watchful eyes of adults. Other design features include half width steps leading into the water, a hot seat at one end, 4 volcano jets, and York stone coping surround The outdoor swimming pool area also benefits from an adjacent spa pool (measuring 3m x 3m x 1m) which is beautifully finished with 2 stunning swan necks for the ultimate in relaxation after the stresses and strains of a busy family life. At the touch of a button automatic covers emerge from their cave housing to cover both pool and spa and ensure they are safe when not in use.
