Combining the robustness of solid wood and the clean lines of metal, the Bolacha cordless lamp is characterized by a cookie shaped shade and an elegant metal structure. Made from linden wood and aluminum, the Bolacha incorporates HISLE LED technology using touch switch to change the light intensity. Autonomous and rechargeable, it comes with a single or multiple USB C charger. “I wanted to create a lamp from solid wood,” says HMD Interiors Director and Designer Mónica Hedderich of her source of inspiration. “This has always been my guideline, so I imagined the ‘Bolacha’ – cookie in Portuguese – made of solid wood. From then on, the structure becomes obvious to reveal all the splendour of the wood ”.
