The Fusion Streamer is a high performance (120 PPS) four channel MPEG-4 encoder that accepts analog video and audio signals and converts them into a digital packet based IP format. This IP format can be streamed to virtually anywhere in the world via an Internet, LAN or WAN connection. The system includes two methods of interfacing remotely with the streamer; Fusion Streamer Remote Software and Fusion Streamer Web Interface. The Fusion Streamer is also integrated with the Fusion DVR platform seamlessly extending the analog recording infrastructure into the IP domain. The Fusion Streamer is also compatible with Fusion HFVMS video management software providing a third way of remotely interfacing with the unit.

The combination of the Fusion Streamer and Fusion Streamer Remote Software (FSRS) can be utilized to create a standalone video security system. In this configuration any PC running FSRS would become the digital recorder for the system. Operators working from that PC would be able to configure the streamer remotely, monitor Live video, PTZ control and conduct local recorded video searches.
