Description

Traditional soundproof windows only reduce sound pressure when they are closed. Many people perceive complete isolation from outside noise as isolating, which means that noises from within the building are felt more intensely. This innovative window solution insulates sound by up to 31 decibels even when in the ventilation position with our standard system and by up to 39 decibels with full-property solutions. Living in the city means being right in the middle of urban life, which usually entails a high level of noise. However, excessive noise not only impairs our well-being, but also has a negative effect on our health over time. According to TA-Lärm, interior sound pressure levels of 35 dB (A) during the day and 25 dB (A) at night are considered pleasant in the interior. A reduction of just 10 dB in outside noise is perceived as a pleasant halving of the noise. Product and processing advantages •A good night's sleep even with the window open •No unpleasant acoustic isolation •Better room climate through constant air exchange •Avoidance of structural damage with natural ventilation •31 dB system-wide soundproofing in the ventilation position, and up to 39 dB with property-specific solutions •Identical exterior views and processing due to integration in the WS 075/090 modular system •Easy service due to easily accessible maintenance flap
