Overlay
Balthasar Hüsler was the first to separate the wool padding from the rest of the mattress. This enables the overlay of 100% virgin sheep's wool to develop its moisture regulating characteristics. Regular airing activates the self-cleaning function of the fibres and your overlay stays as hygienically fresh for up to seven years as it was on the first day.

Latex mattress
The Hüsler Nest mattresses are 100% natural latex which makes them more supple and more flexible than most other mattresses. The entire surface exhibits the same elasticity thus preventing pressure points and local circulatory problems, but also ensuring gentle adjustment to the curves of the body. The mattress contributes in this way to the cosy nest feeling of a Hüsler Nest. There are two degrees of hardness of latex mattresses available.

Spring unit
Due to its special patented design, the spring unit adapts to suit the person's body regardless of weight, size and figure. The entire area supporting the mattress is highly elastic. This applies across the full width of the bed because there is no frame in the way. The spring unit is constructed such that it has a massaging effect.

Frame insert
The frame insert fits into virtually every bedstead. It is made from solid untreated wood and has two longitudinal strips at the sides upon which the spring unit rests. Insert frames are available in three versions: fixed, adjustable raised back or leg rest and adjustable raised back and leg rests. All are free of metal parts. Further versions of the frame insert are equipped with two or four motor drives.
