Boxes was inspired by, well, apile of boxes sitting in a corner. The next step in their evolution was the idea of that pile of boxes being recreated in a beautiful and unexpected meterial. Architectural in it's conception, the piece is executed in a beautiful, shop-sawn black walnut veneer with natural finish, a timeless and natural material for a decidedly modren form. Boxes' carefully staggered elements also cleverly hide its drawers when closed.(The production version of Boxes will include a single concealed drawer.)
