The Oyster armchair is a shell strong, tough and protective, with a sensible inside stretched by the shape but at the same time soft to the touch and surrounding in the comfort. The shape of the “muscles” of the back shell and the sliced sides make the Oyster body very dynamic and reactive as an exclusive design. The connection between the two shells – the internal one and the external one – is underlined by the tailoring manufacturing of the zip and of the stitching.
The frame of the relax armchair and the ottoman is a lower shell constructed of rigid polyurethane Baydur CSP (for the armchair) and Baydur 60 (for the ottoman); this can be lacquered with an innovative non-scratch paint with “gummy effect”, velvety to the touch and available only in white colour; or can be directly covered with saddle leather, leather or fabrc.
In the lacquered version, the lower shell is paired and fixed to an upper shell constructed of rigid polyurethane Baydur CSP (for the armchair) and Baydur 60 (for the ottoman) and lacquered with “gummy effect”. This is the hard version of the seat.
In the saddle leather version, the lower shell is paired and fixed to an upper shell as follows:
for the armchair, the upper shell is constructed of rigid polyurethane Baydur CSP embedded in a cold formed polyurethane with variable thickness and covered with saddle leather. In this case the seat is semi-rigid.
for the ottoman, the upper shell is constructed of rigid polyurethane Baydur 60 contoured with sheet of resilient, CFC-free polyurethane foam (density 70 kg/m3) covered with saddle leather.
