Roof vent ICOAIR

IcoAir is the new way of ensuring your roof space from the occurrence of excessive condensation. The IcoAir ventilation piece can be installed from the outside as well as from the inside of the roof space. This is a major advantage as its almost impossible to retrofit correct ventilation of a roof space once the tiles are on. IcoAir is made from a vulcanised thermoplastic rubber which ensures long durability as well as flexibility at installation and in use. IcoAir has a venting area of 50cm2 per piece meaning it will comply with the demands to 5 mm continuous ventilation at the ridge. This means the use of one IcoAir per pitch truss fitted local to rafter two tile battens down from the ridge in either side of the roof pitch. The rule of one IcoAir per pitch truss is based upon duo pitched roofs with a max house width of 12 m. in case of roof window or other large penetrations or block of air flow in the roof space please consult our technical department for advice.
