Fan coils are devices designed to cool rooms in summer and heat in winter, with additional functions of ventilation, air filtering and dehumidification. Their operation principle involves forced fan-driven circulation of air through a heat exchanger. They are distinguished by high thermal output (up to 10,6 kW), cooling output (up to 7,6 kW), economic operation and a variety of types and models:
- models for 2-pipe and 4-pipe systems
- visible designs with housing (parapet, wall or ceiling mounting)
- flush designs (wall and ceiling mounting)
- air circulation operation and room/fresh air mixing operation models
- six sites (100 to 600)
The desired room temperature is set by means of water flow rate control thermostats (opening/closing of valves) or by means of different room thermostats to control fan speed.
For convenience of operation, a remote control set is available, which accommodates both the primary control functions and the daily or weekly scheduling.
