The TPE MIGNON CORNER FITTINGS WHIT FLARED END are used to connect waterproof bituminous felts when the rainwater drains from balconies are placed close to the wall. With their special design and available colours, mignon fittings can be used in any design setting, even very refined ones. The wide ribbed flange ensures perfect welding with the bituminous sheath and with the shank as much as 345 mm long lets the water flow away from vertical walls, also because of the anti-drop ribbing at the bottom of the shank. With its special funnel-shape design, the hole to discharge the water is as small as possible, thereby allowing for an excellent aesthetic result of the final floor of the balcony. Mignon corner fittings whit flared end are recommended for the installation of horizontal drains. The elastic material they are made with ensures long-term watertightness. The rectangular section of the shank allows a systematic water drainage, the flange is slightly inclined to the shank to aid a slanted installation of the connector. They provide excellent resilience to deterioration caused by the sun, ozone and other weather agents or chemicals normally found in the atmosphere. The elasticity of the material allows for excellent flexibility even at low temperatures, which ensures mechanical and physical properties are maintained over time. They are 100% compatible with APP and SBS prefabricated bituminous membranes and bituminous coats. A sandwich installation between the two layers of membrane is recommended to achieve top performance. To improve adhesion, a thin coat of primer can be applied on the drain connectors beforehand.
