Intec presents Acciaio as a solution for loose-laying top finishes. The advantages are many: the loose-laying top finishes can easily be replaced without removing the panel; the panels do not need protection from damages during works on the site; as for the aesthetic final result, the choice of the loose-laying top finishes do not interfere with the raised floor as a structural system; the loose-laying top finishes are the ideal for a high sound-proofing power: i.e. the carpet for the open-space offices.
The Acciaio panel is screwed directly on the pedestal head, to guarantee a very high stability of the whole system, even without using stringers. It is composed by two steel sheets welded one to the other and it is made by a process that, keeping the thickness of the steel constant, gets in the lower side 64 hollows which work as a ribbing. Then a cement-base inert material is injected inside the panel by pressure and in a pre-determined quantity: this gives the system a better soundproofing power, improving its physical-mechanical characteristics.
