Traditional installation methods generally involve adhesives being applied to the subfloor onto which a floor covering is laid. When the flooring is due for replacement this is both time consuming and costly, as the uplifted floor covering or subfloor has contaminants in the form of adhesives. Where traditionally installed vinyl is replaced this requires substantial preparation to smooth and remove contaminants from the subfloor, prior to the installation of a new floor finish.
With the IOBAC system the replacement of floors - whether vinyl tiles or carpet tiles - is simple and clean, as there are zero contaminants. Replacement is substantially quicker every time, ensuring vital sales revenue within the store is not affected.
