Description Basic Tec Mono is a thin epoxy system specifi c for recovering resinous fl oorings that are damaged or for creating a colored wear and tear layer on new concrete. Compared to painting systems, such a coating has a light anti-slip grade due to the presence of mineral charges. Performance/Advantages • High resistance to abrasion and impermeability • Strong coverage: specifi c inerts such as Carbomix aimed at increasing its resistance can be incorporated • Resistance to pedestrian and equipment transit with respect to industrial standards • Recovery of surface layer of damaged resinous coatings Use • Concrete fl oorings that do not require a specifi c resistance to mechanical stress from transit and to dynamic punching, but mostly a waterproof, oilresistant and monochromatic coating, with good mechanical characteristics and resistance to wear and tear • Sectors: food, mechanical, textile-dyeing-tan, chemical-pharmaceutical and manufacturing Suggested preparation • Sanding • Light diamond grinding • Vacuum cleaning of the surface Installation • Installation by spatula of EP 531 charged with Duromix 1 or Duromix 7, for a total consumption of 0.625 Kg/sq m
