Janson's Beam Bridge units ( code JSK ) are designed for temporary and permanent applications wherever short span bridges up to 21 meter for all general traffic are required. Because of the special coupling system and integrated lifting lugs, the pre-assembled Janson Beam Bridge Units can be installed rapidly saving time and money. The low profile of the bridge units reduces the need for long approach ramps. The Janson Beam Bridge is the ideal system to span existing bridges that have insufficient capacity for the loads using them. Each Beam Bridge unit has a width of 1.5 or 2.1m. By joining the units sideways, any required road width within the modules can be achieved ( 3.0m 3.6m 4.2m 4.5m - etc ). The outer units can be equipped with parapet rails and kerbs or pedestrian fencing. The units are available in depths of 300mm and 450mm and have an integrated anti-skid surface consisting of epoxy resin embedded with aggregate.
