The Shanghai takes Duc's ideas of functionality even further. At first this looks like a modern day bed upholstered in silk with a wooden frame and an array of cushions that are begging to be reclined on...but it gets better. With one swift movement the wooden frame around the seat can be lifted off, leaving a large padded bed with a pile of scatter cushions. Pure unadulterated decadence.
