ommissioned by the Government of Hong Kong, the project comprises three blocks, namely the Central Government Offices, the Chief Executive’s Office and the Legislative Council Complex. The project meets high standard for safety. The architectural design concept is to adopt a visual metaphor of an open door to symbolize the nature of Hong Kong. The configuration also optimizes ventilation of the neighbourhood and creates an urban green link from the city centre to the waterfront with uninterrupted pedestrian access.
