The building is located in Moscow-City, a new Moscow urban district, approx. 5 km straight-line distance from the Kremlin. The area is also known as the “Moscow International Business Centre”. Each of the 52 floors make a 3 degree turn giving the skyscraper the appearance of a spiral DNA strand. The geometrical complexity presented special challenges to façade engineering. The tower is the first building in Russia with cold formed double glazing. To technically implement the approx. 156 degree rotation, 27 geometrically different façade units were installed to each floor. CTBUH Best Tall Building Award Europe Finalist 2015.
