After it´s opening in August 2012, Hysan Place has become the new commercial landmark in Causeway Bay, a very popular commercial district on Hong Kong Island with the second highest retail rents in the world just behind New York’s Fifth Avenue. The project was awarded to Permasteelisa Hong Kong Ltd. (tower) and to J. Gartner & Co. (HK) Ltd. (podium) and was designed by architects Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates in collaboration with Dennis Lau & Ng Chun Man Architects & Engineers (HK) Ltd.
Scope of Work
Tower: 35,700 sqm (384,300 sq ft) of curtain wall
Podium: 10,500 sqm (113,000 sq ft) of façade
