Fedders mini-split wall-mounted air conditioners 2.6kW & 3.5kW

This Fedders mini-split air conditioning system is ideal for bedrooms as it is very quiet and, at under 28dBA on its lowest setting, is almost inaudible.

Two units are available - a 2.6kW unit suitable for areas up to 26.4m2 (27dBa) and a 3.5kW unit suitable for areas up to 35m2 (28dBa). Both are available with a heat pump option so can provide heating as well as cooling.

The skew-angled, random-pitched fan blades on the internal unit reduce noise levels and improve the tonal quality, while maintaining a high rate of airflow. This ensures whisper quiet operation making it one of, if not the, quietest split air conditioners on the market.

A mini-split air conditioner comprises two elements - an internal and an external unit. The internal unit is fitted to a metal mounting plate on a wall in the room to be cooled, whilst the external unit is situated outside the building. The two are connected using copper pipe. The external unit, or condensor, removes the heat from the room and dissipates it outside, along with any condensation that's built-up in the system, whilst the internal unit provides cooling.
