Novo by Junkers & Müllers is a Trevira CS product that combines technical functionality with an exceptional look. The elegant rep structure and silky, shimmering surface communicate sophistication and aesthetics, making it ideal for commercial properties. Novo is available in 5 colours and at present is available in a width of 2.1m (shortly also 2.4m). The fabric can be used in roller blinds and panel tracks. Contrary to most products for interior sun shading that only offer minimum sound absorption, the Novo panel track excels in this area. JM has had the degree of sound absorption (αw) tested in accordance with precision methods for reverberation rooms (according to EN ISO 11654). The result of αw = 0.45 is an average value in absolute terms (for classification purposes: the closer the value is to 1, the better the sound absorption; the closer to 0, the less effective). However, in the context of such thin and filigree textiles such as panel tracks, this is an excellent result that can achieve considerable improvements in room acoustics.
