Katherm NK - natural convection floor duct heaters
Katherm NK are ready-to-install heaters, ideal for installation underneath full-height external glazing. Once installed, all that can be seen are the attractive roll-up or linear grilles. Kampmann high-output cu/al convectors are concealed within the duct.
Katherm NK is available in the following heights: 92, 120, 150 and 200mm.
Function
Katherm disperses cold air throughout the whole room and screens off cold air from the glazing around the perimeter. Katherm floor duct heaters have a very low water content and so are easy to control.
Application
Katherm NK 92mm deep units primarily provide secondary heating, while Katherm NK 120, 150 und 200mm deep units can often be used as the primary heat source throughout the year (except in the depths of winter!) or whenever their output is sufficient to cover the total heat loss.
