Description

"Diversity" is the key word for this new door handle from Karcher Design. The TORINO R53 model, designed by Italian designer Itamar Harari, has a simple rectangular handle in matt nickel. The surface of its handle has a recess a few millimetres deep, and this is exactly where the design aspect becomes clear: the many different inlays that can be glued into TORINO make it compatible with almost any modern architectural style. With this handle model, Karcher Design offers a variety of inlays made of several materials: from real wood inlays, for example in light oak and fine ebony, to real leather or even carbon, there is something for every taste. The inlays made of laminate include the colours white, cream white and black, each matt or glossy, as well as concrete with structure. The fact that the edges of the TORINO recess are rounded towards the inside, similar to a picture frame, means that the choice of inlay is not tied to a precisely defined thickness of the material.
