KLIMP by Margus Triibmann
metal, recycled plastic, polyethylene
Klimp is funny, cozy, flexible and dynamic piece of furniture carrying a contemporary way of thinking and it is also weather as well as vandal proof. When you turn the bench, new forms emerge and they can all be used for sitting, leaning or just having fun. In one of its main positions, Klimp resembles a traditional park bench or a sofa at home. There are two options for implementing the bench.
Bearing structures made of polyethylene belts, are held together by horizontal galvanized metal pipes. Bench’s strong, airy and stable structure is made out of recycled plastic ribs or are used in combination with olied larch ribs. The plastic elements are used in these parts of the bench where it has a direct contact with the ground.
