Reinforced concrete prémur with integrated insulation
Kerkstoel 2000

What are insulated double walls:
The insulated double wall is a semi-finished product, consisting of two reinforced concrete shells. These shells are attached to each other by specially developed rustproof connectors, which replace the usual steel lattice girders and thus prevent the formation of thermal bridges. This innovation is the result of study and testing phases that Kerkstoel 2000+ conducted in collaboration with the WTCB (Scientific and Technical Centre for the Building Industry) research institute.
The insulation layer is pre-applied in our factory to one of the shells on the inside of the double wall. Depending on the application, there may be an inter-space that needs to be filled up with concrete at the work-site.
Cellars and cladding units as well as insulated inner walls - the insulated double wall can be used everywhere requirements call for it. It's an ideal solution for the separation walls between apartments and office buildings.
You can now achieve normal or high thermal and acoustic comfort with a single prefab structure element. Enabling you to build more quickly and efficiently!

Technical possibilities:
Total wall thickness: min 220 mm / max 400 mm
Thickness of the insulation layer: min 30 mm
Length and width: as a normal double wall, one direction to 3.50 m, other direction, standard to 8.50 m

Thermal performance :
The thickness of the layer of insulation - and this is a minimum of 3 cm - allows you to attain the required U-value for this building component. In that sense, it's a perfect solution for satisfying the legislation that sets requirements for energy-saving performance and indoor climate.
