For the design of 6000 san_siro, Norbert Geelen drew his inspiration from Italy’s largest stadium: the Milan Guiseppe-Meazza-Stadium, commonly known as San Siro due to its location in the well-known district. Even some of the table tops are based on the characteristic, architectural shape of this stadium. The most striking design element is most certainly the slender tubular steel frame with its flat, straight aluminium pedestals. The latter support a wide variety of table tops – either asymmetrically like a pebble stone or in the traditional round, rectangular or square shapes, not forgetting the stadium-like shape. This range of distinct shapes is complemented by a multitude of different materials, finishing options and lippings as well as frame varieties. Ideally suited for office, meeting, conference and seminar environments are the 6050 san_siro variations, given the fact that the table tops can be swiveled up in a vertical position by sleight of hand. When featuring castors, it is easy to move the tables and stack them horizontally.
