This floor lamp, design for La Murrina, comes from the desire to exploit and enhance the unique characteristics of the hand-moulded glass.
We used some blown glass plates and composed them asymmetrically, creating a kind of contemporary sculpture.
The inspiration comes from the shapes of the architecture of the new generation of skyscrapers.
The plates are illuminated with LED technology, which enhances the unique materiality of the glass and creates magical effects, giving the product a value and unique wealth.
The design of this lamp merges seamlessly with the material, the result is an essential product but at the same time refined.
We sought a balance between contemporaneity, by using abstract forms and innovative technologies, and tradition, by using very ancient materials and workings.
The result is a flexible design, which anyhow creates a dialogue and an exchange with the surrounding space where it will be inserted, both in a historical home or in a modern office.
