Varennes is a small town in Eastern France where the reign of Louis XVI ended after unsuccessfully trying to escape from the French Revolution in 1791. With his wife Marie Antoinette, and his family they wanted to join the royalist stronghold in Montmedy , in hope to start a counter-revolution. . The collection Varennes is a Louis XVI type, the lines have lost the curves from the Louis XIV and Louis XVI inspiration, they have become more stretch but many small details brighten and feminize it all : grooves , pretty ribbons , frieze hand carving, flowers, ...
