VESUVIO by Giorgio Parise & Marostica (VI)
natural stone, granite
A house surrounded by greenery hosts Lapitec as the cladding for both its roof and its facade.
The architecture of the residence blends elegantly with the context and uses natural elements such as wood combined with Nero Antracite Lapitec with a Vesuvio finish, which recalls the look of flamed and brushed granite.
Lapitec was chosen because of its characteristics and the possibilities that it offers. For example, its resistance to UV rays, which ensures a stable colour over the years, or the possibility of customising it by cutting the large 3365x1500mm slabs to size and, finally, the self-cleaning properties of the slabs that, thanks to the titanium dioxide used in the production process, acquire the ability to flush away and break up the atmospheric dust as well as guaranteeing a significant bactericidal effect.
