Refined and stylish details define the new proposals by David Lopez Quincoces for Lema.
The intense collaboration between Lema and David Lopez Quincoces has been enriched this year with many proposals full of personality and details that best describe the industrial DNA of Lema's manufacturing soul. This new chapter of a long relationship which is based on profound stylistic sharing: the Spanish designer's essential and refined lines reflect at their best Lema's discrete style. A further point in common is the deep attention to details, the research on materials and on unusual handcrafted finishes as revealed by the latest creations. An Art Deco spirit and magnetic charm for the Alamo table, where the decorative codes of the '40s are reinterpreted and fused with a distinctively minimal contemporary style. An elegan angular structure and table top with essential lines, defined by a combination of different materials: the structure is in bronze coated painted metal and presents a new and exclusive tactile finish, composed of resin, pigmented marble powder and shavings of precious metals, such as bronze and brass. Alamo is proposed in three enticing colour options inspired by nature. Amongst the other novelties signed by David for Lema, the Alton armchair, with sartorial finishing using over 200 mt of hand-wound leather and the Areia dresser, characterized by the visible tubular structure in bronze metal and the use of Canaletto walnut for the suspended bases and drawers. Last but not least, the work developed together on wardrobes: from the elegant Warm wardrobe with its characteristic door in precious coffee-coloured leather - to the latest creations: Seryasse and Kyn.
