The peculiarity of this know-how consists in the ability to prestress extremely thin and long elements. They look like wooden planks because of their size (3 cm high x 10 cm wide x up to 400 cm long) and their attractive appearance. They are coloured in mass, which means they are not simply varnished on their surface, but that the entire mix is coloured using iron oxides extracted from natural ore.
