DRY HEATING SYSTEM
LOEX home Core was specifically designed for use in both refurbishment and new construction projects. LOEX home Core uses expanded polystyrene panels with added graphite. The thickness of the product has been calibrated to comply with standards without the need for a further layer of insulation. The preformed aluminium cover contributes to the diffusion of the heat transmitted from the 16x2 mm hose which is made of high density cross linked polythene (PE-Xa) with an oxygen barrier buried in the panel.
HOW IT WORKS
Thanks to a specific study of all the components in the LOEX home Core system, all the benefits of an underfloor heating and cooling system can be enjoyed to the full even where there is limited space available (insufficient for traditional systems) whether for use in refurbishing projects or for brand new buildings. The key to the LOEX home Core system lies in the use of expanded 35 mm polystyrene panels with added graphite which have slots cut into them to house LOEX 162 PE-Xa 16x2 mm hoses. The depth and excellent insulation properties of LOEX home Core panels ensure insulation that complies with the minimum requirements of the applicable standards. The upper cover consists of a removable sheet of aluminium foil measuring 0.45 mm which faithfully follows the shape of the panel and covers the hose to provide excellent transfer of heat to the surface above. It also increases the panels' already high resistance compression. A special header panel with specially arranged notches ensures the ideal distribution of the hose under the manifold and lays a pattern for 180° hose bends.
