“Spazio” is a system of sliding shelves running on tracks, designed to reduce the wasted space associated with traditional fixed shelving. “Spazio” combines sliding sections to make full use of all available space, at the same time leading to more efficient filing. Compared with common production standards, "Spazio” is built to higher technical quality levels, with unique features designed for improved safety, better resistance and ease of use. A sturdy construction using solid shoulders of suitable thickness provides room for all paper products without the need for further reinforcement. Each sliding base has a double row of shelves, accessible if required from both sides, to improve filing efficiency. Extra-thickness shelving also prevents shelf bending even when particularly heavy loads are involved. The use of painted tubular sheet metal profiles provides the structure with greater strength and carrying capacity, even when the shelves have to cope with particularly large loads. All versions are fitted as standard with a tip-proof system for the sliding units and crush-prevention bars, according to Italian Decree N° 626.
