This style of Indonesian bed is a veritable mix of the four poster Colonial bed with the sculpted ethnic bed. These beds usually have Colonial style turned columns and are closed in on three sides rather than just at the foot and head of the bed. Photo 1) Teak Javanese bed. Early 20th century.
