The Thomas backless bench with a lenght of 110cm is made of high quality vintage teakwood with a naturally aged look. Each piece of furniture from the Thomas collection is therefore unique and matches perfectly with each dining table from the Max & Luuk collection. Every piece of vintage teak has its own character and structure. Small inlays can be used to fill up minor existing imperfections and give the product a naturally aged look. When purchasing this product you are guaranteed to have a unique table. Teakwood is a natural material and cracks in the end grain of components, for example legs and laminated tops, may appear due to changes in temperature and humidity and the consequent change in moisture content of the wood. Fissures will open in the end grain, this is known as checking. This is normal, especially in heavier components and it will not affect the serviceability of your furniture. Due to weather conditions teakwood will get a beautiful grey patina colour.
