WIDTH 53 cm / SEAT HEIGHT 47 cm / DEPTH 54 cm / HEIGHT 88 cm / STACKABLE 4
Slender, lively, soft and flexible when it comes to use. This seat is the result of a desire to focus on the user and on his or her need for comfort.
MERY-G reflects an attention to materials and details in a production process that stands out for its organisation when it comes to work and the production cycle within an industrial structure. In short, it is the perfect combination of a balanced use of craftsmanship and industry. “My aim was to design an item that is reminiscent of a certain handcrafted construction system from the past, but with the precise intention of making it an industrial design object. A product projected into the future, to be interpreted – as for traditional items – according to the relationship of its parts and the balance of its proportions. A concise design, where forms communicate instinctive emotions that remain uncorrupted by the vices of culture, custom or style.”
In short, research that goes to the “heart” of the problem. Simplified technology made familiar and intuitive.
