Jan is a sofa whose stylish bring sophistication to a modern setting. The cover is completely removable and washable according to the fabric chosen. By simply rotating the back, without removing any of the cushions, it converts into a bed with a 17/18 cm mattress. Pillow storage is available in the backrest. Mechanism or structure: High resistance steel tube epoxy baked painted. Orthopedic bed with quality continental weld-mesh, fixed to the frame with springs. Comfortable seating made with webbing. Opening and closing operations with one single movement (sofabed only). Mattress standard (sofabed only): interior “Bonnel” springing made of a 2,20 mm. hardened steel; expanded polyurethane foam 30 Kg/m3 ; 100% CO ecru fabric quilted with extra soft expanded polyurethane foam 18 kg/m3 + 100% PL 200 g/m2 and non-woven, 100% cotton fabric band. Frame: Back: fir, poplar plywood and webbing. Armrests in solid fir, poplar plywood and particle wood. Front panel (nonbearing) in particle wood. Headboard: solid fir and particle wood. Padding: Seat: Expanded polyurethane foam 25 Kg/m3 , covered with PL fibre 400 gr/m2 and 2,5 mm. quilted interliner. Back: Expanded polyurethane foam 18 kg/m3 + PL fibre 400 gr/m2 ; inner cover in 2,5 mm. combined interliner. Headboard and front panel: 10 mm. foam combined with interliner.
