A range of bookcases that are open or have glass doors with a square frame, divided in four by an inner cross. The mat lacquered chalk white, pearl or silver front is matched with a mat lacquered coloured frame. The glass in the doors can be clear or etched. The interior can be illuminated with one or more pairs of spotlights.
Aldo Rossi and Luca Meda have designed a piece of architecture; a large façade featuring regularly spaced windows. Piroscafo is a versatile home cupboard - a bookcase for the study, a display cabinet for the living room or a sideboard for the kitchen.
