FREEDOM 1500

Freedom Elevator's Freedom 1500 model is a large economical home elevator with a hydraulic driving system. A Freedom 1500 elevator can hold up to 1500lbs, making it their largest size home model. The elevator's motor can run up to 40 feet per minute, and the elevator itself can travel to heights up to 50 feet with five stops. The elevator car has a height of 96 inches, and dimensions of the platform inside can be 40"x48", 44"x54", or 44"x60". Emergency features for this elevator include a battery-powered lowering function and lighting. In addition, Freedom 950 elevators come in a variety of finishes to match the wood in your home.

One of the Freedom 1500's unique features is automatic side-sliding doors, which are an upgrade from the accordion gates for most home and residential elevators. Side-sliding doors can be replaced with sliding or standard swing doors. This model also has four elevator door options. Standard doors include a front design, although side, walkthrough, and side walkthrough options are available as well. Walkthrough options are either 180 or 90 degrees apart.

Because this elevator is significantly larger than the Freedom 750 and 950 models, the installation is longer. Installing the Freedom 1500 home elevator will take from four to five days. In addition, a functional telephone jack should be running to the machine room prior to installing the elevator.
