Home automation system for multimedia equipement NETSTREAMS
DigiLinX changes the game when it comes to distributing high definition audio and video around commercial facilities. From casinos to corporate headquarters, network operations centers to shopping malls, if you need to distribute content to a large number of speakers and displays and you're concerned about the amount of wiring, flexibility of control options, or co-existence with your existing infrastructure DigiLinX is the best solution on the market today.
DigiLinX is an IP-Based Audio/Video Distribution network designed from the ground up to deliver the highest quality transmission over the same network infrastructure found in most commercial facilities today. The DigiLinX solution provides much more than just the A/V distribution - it provides source control, a graphical user interface (GUI), sensor and relay control and more - all with no time consuming programming effort.
Key DigiLinX benefits include:
Scalability: DigiLinX will scale as big as your network can grow, and better yet it imposes no constraints on the number of sources vs the number of zones or displays. Installations could be 3 sources to 300 displays or 300 sources to 3 displays. What do 300x300 matrix switches cost?
Quality: DigiLinX was designed with audio and video fidelity in mind. The system distributes uncompressed, lossless audio and video over a managed network. The picture looks the same as if the source we directly connected to a display. Additionally, all audio zones and all displays are synchronized to 1 millisecond or less - well beyond the perception of any person.
Less Wiring: As the price of wiring and it's raw material, copper, goes up, businesses are increasingly conscious of the amount and price of wiring. DigiLinX delivers its award winning audio, video, and control over one CAT-5e cable. For many commercial venues this means that DigiLinX could be installed without running any new wire, making the system overall the natural choice.
Running
on the Existing Network: Most commercial venues already have the IP network infrastructure capable of supporting DigiLinX. If you use switches from companies like Cisco and Dell you can now run audio and video over the same network as you run voice and data. NetStreams has worked with Cisco certified Master Technicians on different installations using off the shelf network switches to run our audio/video distribution solution.
Flexible Control: DigiLinX gives you many options for controlling your audio/video distribution solution, from our built-in GUI to drivers for Crestron and AMX. Integrators and Application partners can even control DigiLinX through custom built applications.
