Suitable for industrial premises, leisure facilities and rented houses, NIBE EKS 500 and 750 can be used as a pure accumulator for hot water, in combination with a heat exchanger or for direct heating using immersion heaters. These models consist of a single-jacketed steel container with internal corrosion-resistant copper lining for excellent corrosion protection. In systems where there is a heavy demand for hot water over a short period, a storage water heater is often the best solution. One advantage is that the installed power can be kept low, which limits the system’s total power requirement. When electric heating is used, the storage water heater is almost always the only option, as circulation heaters require a lot of power.
