The attractive combination of linen woven and metallic shine is a modern re-interpretation of Art Deco elements. The printed-on foam appliqués comprise shimmering metal platelets made to look three dimensional thanks to a lateral shadow joint in coloured foam. In silver, gold and copper they are combined with seven modern pastel shades and elegant non-colours. The background fabric for this elaborate and yet unobtrusive design comes care of Nya Nordiska's solid fabric Nubia, whose six basic colours harmoniously team with Metropolitan.
