Description

ODE Isıpan BD is the extruded polystyrene thermal insulation panel series used in the thermal insulation of walls, columns and beams. Both surfaces are printed. The printed surface of the panels allow for high adherence with grout and adhesive. HEAT TRANSFER COEFFICIENT (λ) The heat transfer coefficient is the amount of heat passing through 1 m2 surface at 1°C temperature difference (Δt) at 1 m perpendicular distance of the insulation material. The unit is W/mK. This value is the most important property of the thermal insulation materials. In order for a substance to become a thermal insulation material, a heat transfer coefficient smaller than 0.65 W/mK is required (ISO and CEN standards). The smaller the heat transfer coefficient of the insulation material, the higher is the resistance to heat transfer.
