The La Paz Collection of carpets Is highly Influenced by pre-Colombian textile design elements, vegetal ttye color palettes and weaving techniques using hand processed wool. These textiles emerged in the coastal cultures stretching along the Andes from Southern Chile to Northern Peru during the 17th and 18th centuries. Stephanie Odegard has transformed the original textile designs using many of the same basic elements combined with weaving techniques for the floor.
